Wendy Young
Youth Educator |
 |
Wendy is a graduate of Liberty University with a BS in Psychology and Counseling. Married to a youth pastor, Wendy and her husband have 3 children and have served in youth ministry for over 15 years.
|
|
| |
For several years Wendy has worked for the Commission on Children and Youth as an Abstinence Educator in Cobb County Middle Schools. As Youth Educator, Wendy uses her experience to minister in our abstinence program by teaching teens, educating parents, and coordinating events.
Amidst a sexually charged culture, Wendy is passionate about educating teens about God’s design for sex in marriage only. When students grasp that God’s laws protect us so we can be all He wants us to be, they can experience true freedom. Our value doesn’t come from how we look or what we do; it comes from who we are in Christ.
Wendy is also committed to educating parents and equipping them to talk to their kids about these difficult issues.
Wendy is available to speak at camps, schools and youth group events. |
