to help anyone in a crisis pregnancy, regardless of age, race,
creed, nationality, county, marital status, circumstances of
conception, or condition of the unborn baby.
Mission Statement
Cobb Pregnancy Services is committed to helping
women and men deal positively with an unexpected pregnancy by
providing practical assistance as well as emotional and spiritual
support which includes sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Means
of Support
Cobb Pregnancy Services is supported by local
churches and concerned individuals and receives no State or Federal
Funding.
A Call To Concern
“Churches and other groups opposed to
abortion must be prepared to extend practical help to…the
unmarried woman who is pregnant. Merely to say, “You must
not have an abortion without being ready to involve ourselves
in the problem is another way of being inhuman.” Frances
A. Schaeffer and Everett Koop, M.D. Whatever
Happened To The Human Race?
At any given time, 30% of the staff and
volunteers at Cobb Pregnancy Services are post-abortive women.
Through their relationship with Jesus Christ, they have come
to a place of healing in their own lives and are committed
to sharing their stories with pregnant women in crisis so they
do not make the same mistake.
Cobb Pregnancy Services recognizes that
the majority of abortion-minded women sincerely feel that abortion
is their only option. When given hope through counseling, prayer,
and practical assistance, many of these women begin to see
that nothing justifies taking the life of their unborn child. |
